How old does my child need to be to start soccer lessons in NJ?

Skill School is open to all ages, abilities and genders. Futsal age groups start at U8 in Bergen County and U9 in Monmouth County, and Mini Dragons (U5–U6), coming soon, is our first program for the youngest players.

Where can my child take soccer lessons near me in NJ?

Skill School runs at Williams Field in New Milford. Winter futsal runs at Hovnanian School in New Milford, St Nicks Greek Church in Wyckoff and Hoop Group in Neptune, and Total Training has run on Wednesdays at the Superdome in Waldwick.

My child is already on a travel team. Will soccer lessons help them?

Yes. Team training develops shape and tactics. Skills lessons build the technique that makes a player better inside that team. MDS is club-neutral, and players from every club, travel team and rec league are welcome.
