MDS Academy is Bergen County's premier youth soccer development program, built for players who want more than standard team training provides. Operating at venues in New Milford and Waldwick — serving families from Ridgewood, Westwood, New Milford, and across Bergen County, New Jersey — MDS delivers professional, licensed coaching and structured development programs for players from U5 through U18. Whether your player is just starting out or preparing for a higher level of competition, MDS has a program designed for them. The focus is always the same: developing technically capable, tactically intelligent players who love the game.
Playing on a team is essential — but it is not enough on its own. Matches and team practice sessions divide a coach's attention across a full squad, meaning individual players receive limited one-to-one coaching time. Structured supplemental training programs, like those offered by MDS Academy in Bergen County, give players the dedicated development time they need to genuinely improve.
Players who train with MDS alongside their regular club commitments develop technically faster, arrive at team sessions more prepared, and build the confidence and composure that only comes from accumulated quality repetitions in a coaching-led environment. Bergen County is home to a highly competitive youth soccer landscape — players who invest in their individual development have a clear advantage at tryouts, in matches, and in their long-term trajectory in the sport.
Faster individual improvement
Structured sessions focused on specific technical outcomes produce measurable improvement faster than uncoached practice.
Club-neutral environment
Training alongside players from different clubs builds competitive perspective and expands player development beyond a single system.
Professional coaching standards
MDS coaches hold recognised coaching licences and deliver sessions built around a defined curriculum — not improvised drills.
